Our Vision

We have a clear vision to prepare our students for careers in Engineering and Life Sciences.

We aim to provide innovative, dynamic and empowering education and training for young people who have an interest in engineering, health, science and technology-based careers. We strive to develop people who are skilled, professional and enterprising – who can make a significant contribution to engineering and science in Derby, Derbyshire and the East Midlands.

We provide an integrated academic and vocational curriculum that focuses on technical and employability skills. Employers and university partners help to shape learning challenges via a fully employer-led curriculum. This curriculum stretches our students in a way which will prepare them very well for careers in the relevant sectors.
